Allan holdsworth passes away at 70.

I got to know his music just about 10 years back.My life changed forever .Was lucky enough to watch him live a few years back in Mumbai.A true innovator whose complex harmonic interpretations will take years to be deciphered and who changed the face of electric guitar forever.

It took me 20 years to find out who played the guitar solo on Jean luc ponty Enigmatic ocean which I followed during college days.It was Allan. There has been no looking back since.
It is great that his box set of 12 solo cds is available on amazon now.
