For me also the estimated delivery date was 11th April. But still the package was delivered on 30th March itself.

I also ordered 7 audio cds on Mar 21st. Free shipping to India. Estimated delivery date was 11th April however received yesterday. I am in Bangalore.

I ordered on Amazon UK on 15th March, despatched on March 17th and mostly delivered on March 29th (though the estimated delivery was between April 1st-7th) in Chennai - mostly Blurays and 1 Audio CD. Only 1 bluray is yet to be delivered - supposed to be in customs clearance now according to tracking.

One caveat though, they seem to block an additional amount (approx 30% of bill value) - for possible customs charges on the card during purchase? Hopefully, it will be reversed after getting confirmation of delivery. No customs charges was demanded by the courier co. on delivery, but not sure if they have paid it & will claim it from Amazon UK

My Credit Card Bank charged approx 76 Rs for one Pound (Forex value (approx 73Rs) + service charges). Amazon also charged exactly the bill value.

Can someone confirm about the duty part of it - if we mark it as gift? Do we have to give a different address than the CC billing address or can it be the same? Like can I gift it to my wife? shopyourworld says that upto 10K per item is duty free. Please confirm.

At checkout there is option of debit card payment.

Today I ordered about 9 BDs, amazing savings due to free shipping. Amazon UK is also running 2 BDs at 15 GBP. They have better bargains compared to US.

I placed 5 orders with Amazon UK in Feb.Free shipping.Received 4 of them within 10 days of shipping and 1 after a month.Placed 1 order with Amazon US.Standard shipping.Received through a local courier after three weeks.
In March I placed 6 orders with Amazon UK.Received 2 after a week.The rest have still not arrived :sad:

actually i have used ICICI debit card for purchase. But they have send me a mail that there is a verification problem, and they need me to select any other payment option..
what to do now!!!!

Your bank will be able to tell what verification is required / why the payment was declined. Call them.
Use another debit card if you have one.

Similar case. I ordered The Reader from Amazon.com in Dec. Did not get it till Feb. However, I got a full refund including shipping charges. The other deliveries were always on or before time. No complaints but it does feel sad to wait for nothing...
