Amplifier for 6ohm speakers.

I have a sony hifi system,The main unit has gone bad i am thinking of connecting the 6 ohm bundled speaker to some amplifier.Any suggestions.

i want to know whether it will be good to use prematched sony speakers with any amplifiers ????

I do not know how much power they can handle but if you can keep your volume levels reasonable, you can use a moderately powerful amp 30 -40W like norge to play them.

The rms of the system is 100w per channel with which the speakars were paired .i will lookout for Norge amplifiers .
