Looking for a home audio amplifier recommendation. First, not necessarily going to buy it, just curious as to the options and if anything interests me and if it does then I will buy the amplifier. Second not looking for pro audio options since I am familiar with those. Sound, looking for warm, dark, even veiled. Basically emphasis on mid and mid bass/ low mid, bass and reducing top end. Slow sound. Not fast or analytical. Don't need too much detail/resolution. Budget, deliberately open ended (this is for you rich folks). Feel free to recommend a trillion $ amplifier, or an amplifier that costs more than all of existence. Must be in production so one can actually buy it new. Prefer balanced input. Also prefer speakon output but I am guessing there isn't any home amplifier with a speakon output. Looking for minimum 150W per channel, upto a trillion watts per channel. That should be a range that a home amplifier can muster, on a good day. Will not be posting what I will connect it with. That's it, have a good one.

Trillion dollars (presumably American), that's what is posted.

Essentially, you are searching for a low fidelity poor performance amplifier?

OP, You are talking about a high current - read - big fat transfomer - possessing amplifier, which is preferably a tube amplifier. High current will emphasize the bass. Tubes will emphasize the relaxed top end. Twin dual mono tube amplifier - Yogibear can hook you up @yogibear

Sounds like a DHT amp to me, preferably 300B however 150 watts and balanced inputs are not starter for me. HF would be extended but quite silvery and relaxed.

However, Apart from balanced inputs, tube watts are quite louder than SS watts.

And what 300B amp would you suggest seeing as I need at least 150W of power. I understand that there might not be a amp with this tube with this much output.

Also by the by, is your name a reference to the cartoon character?

Yeah, loved Yogibear (and boboo) from the series.

Thats what I said, the need for sonic traits sounds like 300B but it can do max 9 wpc. Depending on speakers it may be doable.

However 150 watts of tube power is never needed.

I am a fan of animation myself and did enjoy Yogi cartoons, a long time ago.

That I understood, I am asking which amp do you suggest, assuming one accepts less power.
