Had a wonderful evening in the company of Viren at Serenanta Audio's place, along with Sushil Anand of Nova Audio/Audion & FM Arhant.

A custom phono in 'proto' mode. Will share the details once its good to go official.

Now THIS is the kind of audio meet that I would have loved to attend. Viren seems to be very happy with the sound from the pictures...lovely
I'm especially interested in hearing that phono stage Viren ji has made...hmmm wonder if there is a way to do that!
Maybe I can do a review on it sometime.

Anyone know what the tube compliment is being used for the phono?

Of course, it does not "scale" very well, as, doubtless (and hopefully) there will be a third, fourth, and so on hyeah:

Do make it to Serenata Audio's place for a listen, when you are in town. The phono stage as already advised is in proto stage, will shed more details once its ready to be made available by Viren.

Jokes apart, hope there will be more of such meets taking place all over India where one can interact with Viren & other Indian Audio Equipment Designers/Artisans.

Viren Ji, my trip was completely cancelled due to onshore complications in the last phase of the project I was working on. I had to cancel hence never made it to the work engagement in Pune.

Not sure when the next trip is happening now

So I'm assuming that it is no prototype. Correct? Unless the enclosure is a prototype. ;-)

The phono stage found a new partner. Its a Clearaudio Concept Turntable with the Clearaudio Verify Tonearm and Concept MM cartridge. I would express my initial impression on the Clearaudio MM cart and Lyrita Phono combo by using one simple word.. Wow.
