Annoying BCCC compliant process message

I have started this on other forum but that was full of people without any real opinion on anything so i hope i get a better response here.

i have only recently started watching regular tv shows,movies (HD mainly) but i have noticed these obnoxious message from BCCC/IBF which pops up every other minute even on a HD channel (star world hd) its so effin annoying.

as if we don't have enough clutter on our screen with subtitles and movie name bar (according to star movies twitter account it has been made mandatory by these bccc idiots themeselves)

so it looks like BCCC which is a new independent regulatory body formed what 5 months ago are going to be the worst thing to happen to indian TV.

If there is any existing campaign against these morons please let me know i want to join.

PS: not sure if this is the correct section or not to post this. but please don't move it to somehwere where nobody posts. i need opinion of others who hate this serious issue ta.....AND HELLO!!!

btw , whats wrong with that ? Does it stay there forever ? Does it pauses a picture while the message is being displayed ? We should appriciate the fact that at least there is a forum where complaints can be registered , now whether they take a note of it or take action or not ,its altogather different story.

+1 Awareness campaigns of any kind ( broadcasting ,education , RTI etc ) in India , because we need it .

If you have issues with advts , logos etc , send them email and persue it until they take action.

Oh there is lot wrong in that. is there any real need to show this message 1000 times a day? are we that stupid? btw are you dino from sod forum? he will defend these kinda obnoxious behavior for the sake of it.

dovin - i think it will be a waste of time emailing to those morons. we should probably compliant to someone higher up or take this issue to something like customer court etc.

I had posted a similar thread a few weeks ago. Sadly, it would appear that most viewers are like Sanro - on this thread itself- who do not find anything really wrong.

Has anyone also noticed that these messages are displayed frequently only on a FEW channels ? Are they (BCCC)not concerned about the others ?!

In addition, we have the broadcasters themselves defacing the screen by displaying annoying and distracting cross ads while a programme is showing- often covering the face/ subtitles of the actors or persons in the current programme, most notably,( among the channels I watch) are Z Cafe, Star World, FX , Animal Planet.

In most civilised countries, the programmes are split to run ads( a necessary evil) but atleast the programmes themselves are not marred by blinking/ moving cross ads: are people not aware that WE ARE PAYING FOR THE CHANNELS and should have a right to view programmes undisturbed: do we see such practices in Movie theatres ?

Time we started a thread on other social media sites also.

those kinda obnoxious behavior should stay at SD channel at worst. subtitles and those ads have no place in HD channels which should be as clean as possible since we pay so much for these channels.

some of these shows are highly edited anyway what more compliant do people make about these movies and shows? don't understand what these BCCC morons upto.

do any of these BCCC/IBF guys have facebook or twitter account? i would happily join internet war against these guys.

aha! I saw that message yesterday! took 60% of the screen with a rectangle box in the middle. Why isnt it shown in Hindi? Then Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Oriya, Assamese, Bengali, BrijBhaasha, Tulu etc etc...? In all Indian Languages...? Does it mean that a non-English speaker does not have any rights? This is so unfair to the Indian TV viewer

Its just another way of these government entities to ADVERTISE their PRESENCE! I bet 1000 bucks that if we really complaint to them on an "objectionable" content, we will get a response at a reasonable timeframe (if at all!).

Getting angry upon viewing a health advisory message is bad for health.
