friends: finally took the plunge and got a benq w600+. This proj is just amazing. Very much watchable even with some light as I cannot make my living room completely dark. Anyone who needs a demo is welcome.

It is good that you are able to blow the myth in thin air that a projector can be watched with some light while a specific member has been saying that the room has to be completely dark for watching a movie, and you are also able to in-directly bust the other myth that projector and screen need not be of an outstanding quality.
