RS Components: accepts online orders and can deliver to you in Gurgaon. It is more expensive than Lajpat Rai Market but atleast you won't be stuck with fakes/rejects.
I haven't used them but their catalogue is extensive.

EDIT: Corrsons is now closed (to the best of my knowledge) They had a clearance sale about a year ago and i wrote to them once after that and they said that they were no longer in business and couldn't fulfill my order. I don't think their website is up to date. worth writing to them now and finding out because they had some high grade components

Hope this helps.

Thanks mymindinside.. will try this site.. but first i'll try my local market.. if i get the components there then i dont have to wait.. :)

No problem.
another option is Visha Electronics which is at Lamington Rd (the Lajpat Rai market of Bombay). Visha is a shop catering to hobbyists and EE students and have recently started taking orders on the phone for home delivery(i have not used this service but have bought from Visha countless times). Their online catalogue is not too great but they have a lot of components in stock (one has to call and enquire with a part number and other details).

Visha will have a quicker turnaround time since they have most parts in stock. RS Components takes 2 weeks to deliver (AFAIK)

Always ask for the highest quality variant of the part you need since they seem to give the cheapest one by default.

RS is massive. Used to buy from them in London, but they would only deal with trade orders. Once, they refused to give me some parts we had ordered on the phone, as I had forgotten to bring the company-letterhead order with me .

If they are selling to the public, in India, that is excellent :)

I think that technically they are only supposed to accept trade orders. In practice it is possible to buy small quantities for DIY/R&D without any paperwork etc.
