Any one has upgraded their amplifiers to a much higher powered amplifier and appreciated the improvement in sound with the same loudspeakers?

For me it was the other way round - went from 300W/ch ss monos to 32W/ch tube monos. Sound improved by leaps and bounds.

Long ago I changed from Karan Acoustics integrated to power KAS400. My friend actually did the same and I listened to this at his place and was so mightily impressed that I couldn’t resist.

Benefits, more authority, grunt, control and whatever word you can think of that make music more real and enjoyable.

Speakers are Tekton Design’s Moabs.

It is basically, if you can relate, shifting from maruti swift to a good sedan such as Honda Accord

My 30W SE Class A pre and power amp made by FnL Kolkata drives my Falcon Gold better than 125W Sim Audio Moon Pre Power combo. For the Pylon Jaspers, it is the other way around. Synergy Gods need to bless the pairing.

depends on the speaker... for me, at one point i had the rethm saadhana (lowther) and the JBL 4312E side by side...lyrita dht + 2a3 driving the rethm and a pulz ha400 running the jbls...

the lyritas could run the JBL too, but didnt have the oompff that the high wattage pulz could deliver...JBL's were fun with such amps...on he contrary, my rethms sounded horrible with the pulz....showed evety grain of impurity in it!

so i guess it all boils down to what your speakers appetite is...and if it requires high wattage, i would assume a good quality amp can show all the difference.
