any users of sony hi fi system...???

Hi..friends...
if not sony...any other brand's hi fi system...???
because i already have 2 home theatre systems....
main reason is with amplification comes the wires...joint them..and all....
i want all in one place ..that is my real concern...
and the brands suggested like onkio/products already suggested by you all....etc ..will it be available at visakhapattnam..?I am new to this ...don't take otherwise..

he is stocking norge,wharfedale,quad and denon...

i have zeroed in on my search to norge 2060 + wharfedale 9.2

they dont have any option for cd playes except for denon

he suggested me denon DCD 700 which plays MP 3 also...

please suggest me a good cd player by denon which would go well with norge

2060 + wharfedale 9.2....

mr behram quoted 7k for 2060 and 10k for wharfadale 9.2...

he has agreed to do audition of my choices when i vsit him on 14th april..

please give me your final thoughts....

Price is very good.
CA CDp starts from 14k, even marantz current can be for 15k.
Mar 5001 was for 10k in grey as lowest.
Other option is to add Asus xonar SC for 8.5k.

I would suggest first listen to Norge 2060 + Wharfedale 9.2 setup with following source options:

1. Pioneer, I am not able to recall exact model number. But, I think Mr. Behram has a Pioneer player.

2. Denon CD/DVD/MP3 player.

You would be able to make the difference between two sources. Buy the one which pleases your ears.

I am assuming this is going to be your first jump in A/V field. So if I were you I would go with Pioneer as it is versatile. Later on in an year or so I would buy a dedicated CD player rather than having Denon CD/DVD/MP3 player. Here I don't mean Denon is not good. I am not choosing Denon because I don't like MP3 tracks.

For me cost was approx. 15 K a year back. I guess after 10.2 prices have went down for 9.2.

Yes...just now he has quoted

9.2 = 14,450/-

norge 2060 = 8330/-

I think he is quoting little bit on higher side ...as i told him that i am speaking from orissa...

Who gave you this information?

You will connect speakers to your amplifier Norge 2060. Pioneer will only act as source. Its simple. You can hook up even Philips/LG/Sony DVD players. Only difference will be audio quality and obviously price.
