Anyone knows speaker repair guys in Bangalore

Folks,

I need to recone my Altec professional woofers with a recone kit, which I got from US. Anyone can recommend a good speaker repair guy in Bangalore, who will be able to recone for me. I know one in the SJP market, but not sure of his workmanship.

Any suggestions?

The best known guy AFAIK is a guy called Swamy whose shop is on the first floor just adjoining KR Market. I got my passive radiator surround done by him. If you need any guidance, talk to a friend called Philip Isaac, Lizzner Electronics who will definitely give you some good advice. I will PM you his number following this post.

Thanks alot for the info GeorgeO, I am in a similar problem like this. I tried connecting my 20+ year old Sansui loudspeaker after giving a good 7 years break. I connected them to my Sansui AU-719 amp last week after shipping it to Bangalore from my home back in Kerala.

Midrange in one of the speakers seems to be too weak and sounds completely distorted, I really don't know whether the problem is with the crossover or with the speakers itself. hopefully I'll get a resolution from the same contacts mentioned above.
