Hi,
I have not been using my hi-fi system for a few weeks and in my ARCAM P38 power green light has started flashing itself, however all system was switched off.
I have unplugged all power cables for a few hours but it does not help and green light start flashing at once when I plugged power cable in.
So, how do I fix it?
{green flashing light means “DC offset fault". It is not an amplifier fault, but a speaker protection mechanism. If the amplifier is supplied with a DC voltage (rather than the expected AC voltage) for an extended length of time, the coils in the attached speakers will eventually burn out (or, in extreme cases, catch fire).
Arcam amplifier can detect this condition, and cut the current to the speakers.}
Thank you,
Tad
