Reminds me of "I Robot", where the applicability of these laws were discussed. A great murder mystery movie, with a robot as the prime suspect and the murderer being revealed in the last scene.
Will Smith rocks.

The book is better and if memory serves me right has nothing like the script of the movie .. it was a collection of short stories :)

Depends...
Have not read the book but have seen the movie quite a few times. It certainly rocks. The futuristic cars were great, even the JVC CDP in Will Smith's house was so cool.

Another robotic movie that I really love is the classic Forbidden Planet (1956).

the book is much much better, but then the book has no relation whatsoever to the movie, except that.....well....it had robots.....and yes, it was a collection of short stories.

the movie was a very long 'Converse' advertisement, featuring Will Smith and a lot of very good special effects.

The book is better and if memory serves me right has nothing like the script of the movie .. it was a collection of short stories :)
