Can anyone tell me where can I purchase ATC speakers in Mumbai. I am looking for a pair of SCM 100 ASL Tower.

Thank you all for the input. Not sure is there is many ATC user out there. Care to share if you own an ATC. I hear its very good now trying to get a demo.

cmsajith has a pair of ATCs but again he's not in mumbai. I doubt you'll get an audition of ATC speakers in mumbai.

I know someone who has a ATC SCM40 in Mumbai but he is looking out for an amp. Once he gets his amp you can get a good audition.

I have heard too may good things about ATC and have also done my research that buy a powered (active) pair is the way to go. Also ATC is notorious to be power hungry but once we get over this, I understand from a friend in UK that the sound is so "Live like", "True to Source" and Can play very loud without loosing it details and nuance.

That is all correct but what is the size of your room and which CDP are you planning to use with it ?

Size of my room is about 12m x 8m and the CDP is Playback Design MSP5.

The Size of your room and your source are both very suitable for the SCM100. You would need a good preamp and may be also have to see that your listening area is carpeted and the speakers are as far away from all the walls. While these speakers are big, you would enjoy them sitting rather close, between 8-10 ft from the speakers.

I believe the SCM100 is an active speaker.
