Audio Only PC Transport

If you are looking to build a audio only, high quality, PC transport there is an excellent article I just read. Please google for "The art of building Computer Transports". It includes a step by step guide along with explanations.

Interestingly the article notes the differences between an PC meant to be used as a HTPC and an audio transport.

Spiro, this is an old article that has been referred to before on HFV.

The MB and processors may not be available any more. I also think with the Asus sound cards, as noted by Stereophile, the PC noise does not matter anymore as it is completely shielded.

I have just competed building a PC for audio using Essence STX. I have to test it and see how it works. I will be writing up my HTPC and my Audio PC in a little while.
