Audition Polk Speakers

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me as to where can I audition the Polk CS 10 and the TSI 100/200 or the RTI A1/A3 series in Delhi NCR. Also I would prefer taking my AVR to audition the speakers.

Last week I went to Gizmos in Noida and he told me that they do not have anything in display. When I asked them to arrange for one they told me that it would not be possible and that I need to order it as they do not have it in stock. Aslo he was not at all interested in helping me out. He told me to listen to some of the Polk Tower speakers and told me that the Bookshelf sound more or less the same. I was surprised to see this attitude of the sales person.


Also could anyone please describe to me as to what is the difference between the TSI and the RTI series.

I have listened to the Rti and Tsi series and the Rti series surely sound much better and worth the extra money. The difference would be basically a newer series line and some new features. My way of checking was to listen to speakers and then decide. I have the RTi series and they rock.

I am also looking for RTI bookshelf audition in Delhi. However it seems options are limited in Delhi. Last two i.e M/s. Bass N Treble and M/s. Hi fi Zone hardly keep RTI Book shelf. Will surely try M/s. Audio Video Operation.

Any other options for auditioning RTI A1/A3 series in Delhi ??

You can probably audition my Polk Audio TSi 300s which will soon move to the sales section. But I am from Gurgaon and my current place sucks and so does the acoustics of the room.

Polks are Good RTi is better than TSi but then I strongly recommend that you listen to both before you take a call

Not sure if you like kishore da and jagjit singh, Can you try the two in your next auditions with polks and focals? And few female vocals too without much instrumentals.

Kishore and Jagjit are among my favorites and I also listen to Mohammad Rafi and other evergreen singers.

I will add them to my auditions and will update accordingly

I dont think that there are any Pro FX show rooms in Delhi

I got yamaha 667BL and i am looking for better half for it....speakers....

i'll be listening Punjabi/Hindi music(50%) + movies (50%).

Can you please suggest me good speakers ?

Even i am interested in Polk speakers.. but did not get chance to hear it.. RTi series seems to be expensive for me...my budget is around 20-30 k.. but i need tower speakers for front...

also, i am thinking of getting yamaha speakers.. what do you guys suggest?

You can look at the Polk TSi series which would match your budget

Auditioned the Polk RTi A9 - Massive beautiful speakers - yet to burn in but still sounded crisp and clear - Sounded low on bass at lower volumes - but I guess will improve over a period of time - if its Polk its got to be RTi A9 for me which is within my budget

Auditioned Old classic songs sounded like they were being played from the radio -my recording wasnt up to the mark. BUt new hindi songs sounded hep

RTi A9 will give what you take you cant abuse it enough to regret it

Some how I have the same feeling about old hindi music It cant get any better but they will be a part of my audition as long as it takes me to get the towers
