These are generally good pairings. The first 2 are in fact ideal since the two products are tested together at company level.

Since you have acquired BW683, take a look at Rotel seriously.

Hi, If you (the OP) are looking for XPA-2, in my view get a quote from emotive directly before ordering from here.

Emotiva produces very good amps and at great prices as compared to comparable brands.

I have an older UPA-7 driving my 10 years old Sony 7.1 set up and very happy with that both for 2 channel & HT. I replaced processor with XMC-1 and def tech bp8040 sourrounds a year back though.

One friend has paired UMC-1 & XPA-5 with RTI 5s (based on my suggestion) in a HT set up and it sounds awesome for both. Ofcourse polks are on the brighter side but we have tweaked that through equalization adjustments.

Denon PMA 1500/15210/1520 preferably the 1500AE will make the B&W 683 sing with dual transformer dual mono design. A pre owned comes cheap and they are built like tanks.
