Hello replaced tweeters on my 683 speakers there is a red and black cable to attach to posts on the tweeter,I've noticed if i have the black cable attached to the top and red bottom they are noticeably different in sound and power when attached with red to top and black bottom just curious to finding out which is the correct way they come set upby the way my housemate changed them not me and forgot what way around the cables go thanks

Tweeters will have the mark as "+" and "-" on the connector leads. Red wire needs to be connected with + and black with - symbol. Some tweeter wont have the plus/minus mark, rather one of the lead in tweeter will be marked with red color, where red wire needs to be connected.

thanks alot, didn't have the + and - symbol, could just see a faint bit of red on one of the connectors so going with that

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
