i had mentioned two sets of b&ws.

first is the pair of 805s. i paid like a 1000 dollars each for these.

and second is the pair of 601s3 and the lcr60s3. i think paid like a 1000 dollars for these three.

i am looking to sell either of the above at 70% of their cost. but the 805s come with the rotels as a set.

The 683 is a great speaker. It will work in a room of your size. The Rotel is a natural match as they are designed using the B&W range. Make sure that you use a good speaker cable with the B&W to use their true potential and capabilities.

hey in the rotel manual, for the power specs it says for "power requirement" :

usa : 115 volts 60Hz
ec : 230 volts 50Hz

does it mean it can handle either? or that if bought in the respective country it needs that power?

i have a pair of b&w 805s and rotel ra-1072 integrated amp and ra-1062 cd player. all in original packing and in mint condition. will let go for the right price.
Is it the 1072 CD player and RA 1062 amp? Could'nt find anything about ra 1072 integrated.

almost all electronics sold in the US can only handle 110v, also you can confirm with the back panel, the power ratings will be there.

Manuals are usually generic, so don't go by it. Looking behind the Rotel Amp should tell you if it is 230V or 110V volts.

Also, you say 1000 dollars each. Does that mean you paid $2000 for the pair of 805s? Better you quote the prices in INR to avoid confusion...unless you want to be paid in US$.
