Hi, bought 8 nos. of Dayton Audio BST 300 EX yesterday. They're bigger than I thought em to be.

My query is, which amp shall I use to power em, have 7 recliners in my theater room, 3 at the front n 4 at the back on a raised wooden platform.
Not all of these would be used at all times, sometimes maybe just one, three or four, how can I go about this? Don't want em running idle n just vibrating away.
Also they're a bit protruding from the back wooden frame of my recliners cos of their size, am sure that's loss of vibration there, do I need to add a wooden ply there? Have attached pics for reference.

Can an old AVR be put into use too?? My current AVR is Denon 3800H. I'm considering Crown XLS 2502, it being a 2 channel amp, can it power all 8 of these? I'm trying to have 2 shakers at MLP.

Look forward to hear from you guys..!!

Hi Since you are closer to Delhi why not look at options like this?

These are meant for long term use professionally for hours. I am sure they will work fine like a Crown or Studio Master.

Thanks, but..don't wanna sound rude, but are these even reliable?

They are reliable as used by most who have Sound System business and a variety of DJs. In Mumbai have seen a few Sound System owners who use the same.

Since these dealers are closer to your location, you can check, audition and decide. Else you can look at Emotiva or Crown Power amps as alternatives.

Hi Raahul you will find some good videos on YT on positioning and amplification. I run two of these with Fosi. I don’t think there are many on this forum who have experimented with bass shakers.

Purchase the NEW Audiolab 6000A MkII Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
