Dear Experts,

I am looking for 5.0 setup with approx budget of 50k. Use Case is Music 80% and Movies 20%.

For Speakers I am looking at Taga Harmony TAV-606 v.3.

For AVR, I am confused and looking forward to expert opinion.

Which AVR would pair up well with the Taga Harmony speakers ?

In this budget the AVRs in my mind are:
Yamaha 3067, Denon x520 BT, Pioneer VSX 330

Plz provide expert guidance.

Yes for 80 percent music, you should look at Marantz/NAD Integrated Stereo Amplifier.

Recently launched Marantz PM-6006 is a good budget buy. But if you can spend some more, better go for the higher model like the PM-7005/8005.

Pair it with Wharfedale 225/ELAC B6 Bookshelf speakers. They are best budget bookshelf speakers.

It would be a better option to pair your stereo setup with a good budget Blu-ray player like Pioneer BDP-180 or if the budget allows, you can look at Oppo Blu-ray player.

It's better to have a good quality 2 channel system than to have an entry level AVR paired with small speakers or low budget bookshelves. Just my opinion.

This way you have a decent stereo setup which will also do good for movies 9 out of 10 times!

Hi,

If you are fine with pre-owned AVR then you can have a look at my pioneer VSX 830K, its far better than any of your mentioned AVRs in every aspect.
I live in Delhi and you are most welcome to experience it whenever you want before deciding anything.
You can get more details from my signature, I am sending you my details (please check PM) in case if you wish to speak.

Pioneer VSX 330 - Entry level and very week in Music (if you are music lover).
Denon 520BT - Lacks ARC, PL II etc. and some basic features and you will miss punch.

Yamaha 3067 - Good for music and there is no BT which is available in Denon 520BT.
Finally my Vote is for Yamaha3067:clapping:

Regards

Among the below list : Yamaha 3067
But as posted by others a basic stereo amp will serve your purpose well.

HTR 3067 is good VFM no doubt but please be advised that it doesn't have hdcp 2.2. So if you stream Netflix, Amazon prime, etc you may have problems. The denon x520 has it, or else yamaha rxv481 at 44k MRP

Druk,

If you are truly interested in music get a stereo amp with some decent bookshelves. If movie also concerned within the budget then go for used one rather than getting entry level AVRs.

Thank everyone for the suggestions .... This 25k system was for one of my relatives .... he will demo these 3 an decide ...

It's better to go for pre-own powerful AVR than new entry level. You will get better sound quality, more connection options and better built quality.
