Best AVR for music & movies

Where do the good for music and movies start in AVR at least where they can start putting a fight to stereo amps?

For example, in Yamaha would it be at the 863 or in the 1800 range or would one have to go higher. I am not sure of the Yamaha pricing as the 1065 and 1900 go very close in pricing, same was with 863 and 1800.

The price seems unbelievable considering the US price of ~1800$ few months back.

I talked to Fx Entertainment Delhi. They say the final pricing is not out yet but would be around 70-80K.

at this price point this beats any AVR in this price bracket..
It is the best musical AVR, rated above Marantz 6004, which retails around 65k
I was hunting for this when i was shopping for AVRs as it is a may 2009 launch in many countries(in the name of 640R v2), but as pointed by shagun, it was not available with fxEntertainment, so I ended up purchasing a yam 863 instead..

Instead of spending a lot of money on replacing your AVR, why dont you just get a 2 channel preamp. You can use the amplification of the AVR. Just the amplification part wont make so much of difference in sound quality from one AVR to another. And the bright side is, in this budget you can get a tube preamp.
