My pleasure, i can help with the cross-overs and other designs too. But i usually build only TLs. Find all other types too primitive. TL sounds way ahead than others. I am saying this out of experience. The drivers should suit my cross-over designs too as i only design first order cross-overs.

@Hari, the ones we are getting are not TL. Moreover they are full kits including x-overs. So not much work except making the boxes.

I have all of this re-boxed onto two pallets now. I'll post some new pics shortly.

I have been trying for several days to arrange some shipping and have realized it is much cheaper to have product shipped from India to me than from me to India. I guess a lot of that has to do with the difference in currency.

So I am going to see if I can get a freight forwarded over there to have it picked up instead. So hang on. I am working on it.

thanks JLS, actually Ali had extended help for any guidance etc we may need and i believe hes building very expensive cabinets for his pair of speakers... so I guess he may not build cabinets for us but may be he can guide us... I will try to speak to him on that.

In the meanwhile if we can get some one who can actually build the speaker and sub woofer cabinets for the Mumbai forum members it would be great.

Guys please put forth your ideas/ views.... We can atleast do the planning part of cabinets and decide on who to get it done from and what material to use, costing etc before we actually receive the shippment of kits.. it wud save a lot of time.

They are all boxed up on the two pallets and ready for pick up. We are just working out some logistic details.

I'm working on it. The only reason I wanted Mumbai guys to branch out on their own is to avoid shipping which would unnecessarily result in cost escalation. Same goes to guys from other stations like Delhi etc.

Cabinets would be made in Chennai come what may.

i have currently planned one cab for jls001

My cab has turned out overly expesnive only because i have changed the design completely- and being obsessive compulsive i have gone and completely done an overkill

this neednt be done
if theres only naren and jls001 - i will let you guys know the cost if buildng from my source - you can then take a call

Is wood suited to make cabinets? I thought it would have seasonal tendencies to expand and contract and tends to crack if made into an air tight container like a speaker box without catering to the expansions and contractions.
