WHATS HAPPENING ???
wasn't danny responsible for the shipping if i rembember correctly he was the one who offered the free shipping ( commonsense says he was aware of the shipping cost and made that offer based on that fact ...otherwise it makes a case of poor business acumen)

i transferred the money on march 2nd in a rush that the deal was getting over....there is still.no shipping in sight ....if i do not get a satisfactory response to this post by tomorrow evening i am abandoning ship (filing a paypal claim) sorry folks the wait is too long .....

This was totally unnecessary,You should be aware that this is a collaborative effort by various persons involved ( each individual including yourself being part of the group buy),Some have gone the extra mile(s) to make things happen - and, you are undermining the efforts and time spent by Capt. on this.As for Danny , you should have already read his note on why and how he is involved to move out some of these beautiful KITs( post no 1 on page no 1) and I am not sure what was the need to point out, on "poor business acumen".
All I can advise is patience.

P.s.
I had and still have the options to have my kits delivered to my brothers instead of being part of this group buy and possibly had been delivered by now and .... but that is not the point, right!.

Though Your frustration is understandable, your response is disproportionate IMO. Contrary to what you perceive, we (me & Danny) have been putting a lot of hard work to take this forward against all odds. I've not only invested substantial time, money but also put my reputation at stake. I tried to be as transparent as possible. If you feel that it's not worth it, please let me know. I'll pay you off & buy your stuff.

Guys, I would love for the logistics of getting this shipped to have gone a lot faster. Clearly there were some things that would have expedited this if business relationships with overseas shippers and forwarders would have been in place already. If I ever ship a group buy deal like this again then it will go much faster.

Other than a much longer wait for the arrival of the products that you have ordered I think you guys will be real happy. The quality of what you are getting is top notch. And you not only got a discount off the price but free shipping to India as well.

I just quoted Anant for an order of just one servo sub and plate amp and the postage for priority international shipping was $182. US dollars.

Please be patient.

I am too getting impatient as there is no decent bass in my setup, while everything else is done. As a result, I talked to Danny to give me a single driver kit via direct shipping, while I wait for rest of the stuff to arrive. But the high shipping and custom duty is making me rethink.

I also tried to get one on sale this forum (not following it anymore due to bitter experience with the seller).

I think Tally's response is out of the frustration. Tally, everything is packed up. It would be really difficult for Danny to take cancellation. But you can definitely trade up with someone else and recover your money.

Danny/ Capt, any idea how long will it take to ship? Will have to add another month before we can even get it out of the customs.

i never undermined anyones effort especially capt rajesh's ........you have full right to your views and where you ship your items ...is the point of a group buy to lessen the price pinch or to something else ??(whats your point brother??)

see logistics is everyone's nightmare but promises of free shipping have been there since 4th of nov 2011 that means someone did not work out his end of logistics for nearly 6 months ...(i am amazed)
and yes its my hard earned money and i have the full right to overreact if i feel something's amiss

DIY needs patience. I have sometimes waited for years to find a component before the advent of Internet shopping. Even now it takes months before bigger stuff gets cleared from the customs etc. The only way to cut down the frustration is by make two or three builds at a time. So tally you can work on you myref c right now which has a dictionary of tweaks if you check diyaudio by the time your stuff will be in your hands for the speaker builts.

I guess , the first point was to have the DEAL on hand and then facilitate everyone to have a optimum price on their head.
