Best ever deal for loudspeaker kits.

Sure buddy, just PM me your mail id and mob No. make the payment to Danny & update the googlesheet for which you just need to click on my signature.

Hi Capt, I just started a speaker project and need damping material. Would it be possible to sign me up for a few no-rez sheets (4).

You guys just hit the magic number. I am now working on getting all of it boxed up, labeled, and on a pallet. Anyone else wanting to get in on this better so so real quick or you might miss the boat. I will spend the rest of this week getting all of these orders ready so you have about a week.

This is wonderful news.

We plan to close the group buy within a week. Guys on the fence, hurry up before it is too late. Some members are reported be facing problems in transfering funds. I can organise a wire transfer through my Bank for all such members. No charges to the Bank are payable since I'm staff. Let me know who all need this facility.

Danny, could you make a packing list of whose all kits you are putting in the pallet so that we members can be sure that we hv not missed out ...if someone's kit is left out, it would be very difficult to get it here later ....

Hey guys,

If you use Paypal then the 3% Paypal fees are paid by the receiver (me) and not you (the receiver). The same goes for credit cards. I can accept any major credit card too, BTW.

The servo sub is the highest quality low frequency reproduction subs on the market. And they work just fine for home theater applications as well. Nothing about the home theater application changes anything other than the fact that some people want even higher SPL levels for some movies.

We don't offer a 15" woofer. It just didn't make any sense to do so. The 12" woofer already plays flat to 20Hz and is -3db down in the teens. So going to a larger and heavier moving mass only increases the time to return to rest and sacrifices quality. I advise that if you need more output than a single 12" servo sub can provide then use two of them. That gives you more SPL without sacrificing quality.

I use a single 12" servo sub in my room that is 17' by 23' and has 9' ceilings. It can easily balance to the output levels of any speakers I use. But I am not looking to over blow the bass or bring the house down either.

If you are looking for really loud SPL levels then you might want to use 2 of them.

Ported boxes are used to extend low frequency extension beyond that of a sealed box. But with a servo sub a ported box is not necessary. The servo control will force the driver to maintain a linear response down to whatever the extension filter is set for. So going to a ported box just adversely effects the group delay and nothing is really gained.

The woofer is 20 pounds and the amp is 18 pounds.

Thanks Danny for your reply.

Now between sealed and open subs - I have to keep them pretty close to the front wall, maybe a couple of inches of gap. The front can max come out 2 ft from the back wall. Do you recommend a sealed or open baffle in that case? But I can keep two of them in symmetrical layout.

Someone did a nice thing by inserting a column to list the eqpt that was page for. It would suffice if Danny validates the sheet.

I request all the participants to update the eqpt column.

I thought you had opted for the dual driver version of which, only one kit is available! Do let us know if you are taking it or not so that it doesn't get left out, unpicked.

as of now I am all for it. Just trying to understand if the open baffle dual driver sub would be better in my constraints of not being able to place it out in the room 3ft+ from the front wall.

This is the latest list. I've removed the names of those who have not given their details as it is very evident that they are no more interested.

You might also note that the price of the M165 woofer, M165-16 woofer, and the T26SG Peerless tweeter that are used in the X series kits that you guys are ordering cost more by themselves than the kits that they come in. That is how far those kits have been discounted.

Yes, we can see that Danny. Fabulous deal it is.

BTW, since A/V 1RS GR-T3 Tweeters which are sonically inferior to T26SG Tweeters, can they be replaced with T26SG Tweeters and suitably modifying the x-overs as per your advice?

If that is not possible, can we opt for X-LS Classic for fronts & X-CS Classic for centre and go in for upgrading their x-overs with Sonicap Gen.2 by-pass caps to match the A/V-1RS as an alternate measure?
