OK guys, it is official. The ship is arriving on 6th July and would be berthing at Chennai Port.

I was expecting some suggestions/opinions but don't find any. Now there is no time for discussion, only action.

I'll be sending mails and sms giving out account details where the customs and local charges must be paid by the participants. I'll also be contacting over telephone to ascertain that everyone got information.

I had put my gr sub driver for sale sometime back and sbg has shown interest in getting the same. We discussed and also got the confirmation from captain and my sub driver is sold to sbg and captain will be shipping my sub driver along with sbg's package. Just wanted to keep you all informed regarding the same. It is still great to be part of this groupby one of the best seen so far..

We are yet to receive the following documents in original:

1. Invoice
2. Packing note
3. Bill of Lading
4. Certificate of Origin

The requirement of fourth document has been advised by the shipping company just now. I had requested Danny to send the first three documents as advised by the shipping company sometime back but didn't get it till date.

Just spoke to Danny and request him to provide me the courier details. He promised to advise same right away. Will liaise with the courier company regarding the same.

The 4th document, 'Certificate of Origin' has apparently placed on the pallet. I requested Danny to send a scanned copy by email. I'll have to produce the same and liaise with the customs officials to let us have the consignment after opening which, the original document can be retrieved and submitted to them. They would agree to it, hopefully.
