Best floorstanding speaker..... 130 watts to 175 watts

Which is the best floorstanding speaker between these two is good for stereo 2.0 setup ( without sub woofer) ?

Pioneer SP-FS52-LR Andrew Jones Designed Floor standing

OR
BOSTON ACOUSTICS A 250 FLOORSTANDING SPEAKER

I am having receiver Pioneer VSX 831 and below are teh watts details.

Power Output: 80 Watts per Channel (@8ohm 2ch Driven)
Power Output: 140 Watts per Channel (@6ohm 1ch Driven)

Please help in choosing the speaker...

Have you heard either or both yet? Generally if you narrow it down to two, it's the listener's personal taste that dictates the purchase.

I didn't heard both and want to know from FM's that if you guys have listened both of the speaker then let me know your comment on this. I narrow downed both the speaker since these two are in same range of budget which i can afford. Just want to know which one is best for music and movies. Thanks a lot for your time

Both are good.....there are ample YouTube videos available with the same.

Bottom line is that everyone has their own expectations of performance of speakers or amps or avrs.....you need to audition and decide.....visit dealers.....if not available, possible FMs located in your city having similar speakers can help to provide audition....

Both models work well for music and movies....technically Pioneer AJ series speakers will match better with your AVR

Why the 130 to 175 watt requirement?
Amp ratings are pretty deceptive. The 130W is a practically useless specification. Your amp rating is 80W.
