Some users of TW9400 are complaining about 3D quality as the crosstalk is distracting and the quality of the 3D image lacked depth and solidity. Did you notice any crosstalk/ghosting?

Hi! Did you made your purchase ?
If not few general points to consider as below.
Both are very good projectors in their own aspect.

JVC for ink blacks and excellent inbuilt Dynamic tone mapping for HDR 10 & HDR10+ .

Sony for sharpness and colours.

In terms of more service backup , Sony wins.
In terms of true cinematic experience JVC wins.

As a user of JVC projector my vote goes for JVC .(Not a biased opinion, I have used both Sony and JVC)

BenQ 2720i/4100i/TK710STI/X500i

Epson 7100/9400

Also looking at Valerion and other Chinese brands from US. They seem to be good but I think we can’t expect the most accurate colors from them.

Did you consider any of the above before settling with the 9400? If so please do share your thoughts.

BenQ native contrast is very low , don’t buy it . I took demo of 2720i , didn’t like it at all

What aspects of the 9400 made you choose it over the 7100?

I was quoted 1.2 for 7100 and 1.78 for 9400. Because of their almost outdated tech I kept them as Plan C. But will demo them this weekend.

Go for Epson TW9400 only , 7100 have “ focus” problem
