Best Reciever?

Hello everyone!

I'm planning to buy the wharfedale obsidian 600 HT package
which would be a better reciever : yamaha 671 or denon 1612?
& please recommend some sub-woofers that will go along nicely with the wharfedale's & BTW i would personally prefer the yamaha as it has
video upscaling which i think the denon lacks! But sound is the most important.

You can't compare yamaha 671 with denon 1612. It should be yamaha 671 against denon 1912 or yamaha 471 against denon 1612. What is your budget for AVR?

You will need a 110V converter for the AVR to use. FM 'mav' can help you here on 671.

have you auditioned these wharfedales with denon by any chance?
& i'm waiting for 2312 which is going to be available very soon.
I might be able to increase my budget aswell!
