Hi
There is only one 2009 thread before Atmos era about these speakers in the forum .
Which of these is better for a Home theater . For 5.1 I can understand the immersive effect from Bipole , but does it work in 7.1 system where there are 2 dedicated rear speakers and reflection is not needed . Also how does Atmos ceilings affect these ?
How to choose bipole or bookshelf ?

This article also has the answer for what type surround speakers are better for Atmos.

Would be interesting to see opinions from other FMs who are actually using Bipoles in 7.x setup

IMO in a 7.x setup, Bipole may diffuse the surround effects so Bookshelves that are directional would serve better for small HT setups having single row seats.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
