Bit-Perfect Sound output from your PC

GOT THE S/PDIF Output Bracket (For ASUS-4 Pin Connector)
Asus SPDIF Out + Coaxial (Out) + Optical (Out) Module | eBay

Even this is not really necessary unless you need to use the optical output. A cable DIY approach can work equally well with coax S/PDIF output.

BTW.. how much did this adaptor cost?

I havent bought it yet...looking out for options in Borderlinx./Shop yr world/ and 20noth...All r quoting prices above 1200 but the product price is just 6 dollars.
Lets see...If i don get a good deal...will go for DIY method,...

I think you should ask your local computer dealer to source this or a similar connector. A lot of motherboards come with such cables and your dealer should be able to find one that works to give you an RCA output w/o a lot of trouble.

It is indeed better than foobar2k.Thanks spiro. Where did you discover it?
I didnt understand the settings as i dont understand japanese. But no need to do any settings. The sound is much more life like. I dont care whether it is bit perfect or no. Appearance is also minimalistic. Uses less than 20% of my Atom processor of netbook. Good enough.

This player is purely musical.Yes I cld change sound output setting.You can select 64bit out also(currently not supported by soundcard).
Vocals are better than foobar.Overall analoge like sound.Background details are fuller.

I opened help file,then copied word to word & then paste in online google transfer.
Now I can match the Japanese words with English & read the menu.

Indeed the Vocals are very sweet and life like. In addition I found it to be better for percussion instruments as well. The way you found out setting seems to be bit cumbersome. I think i will leave it with default settings for now. The sound is so pleasing that i dont think i should touch settings.
By the way is it audio player only or video as well.

The shows a line 'a!poro ... Sound quality is not skinnable.' What does it mean?

Well it can play flacs,WAV,WMA,MP3 & others.Its audio player & advertised as tube like sound.

something like cant make bad source file sound better perhaps.
