Bluray player with coaxial out and dac

Will a Blu ray players coaxial output and a dac serve the purpose of stereo listening?

Yes. The dac should have coaxial input

Yup, I am using a very basic bluray player from sony and I play FLAC and WAV files in this. Coaxial out to a my DAC which I find very cost effective and sound quality is very good to me.
