Bookshelf Vs In Wall speakers

On the Stereo Loudspeakers & Home Theater Speakers at Axiom Audio ? Your Ultimate Audio Experience website, i saw the specs for the M3 book shelf speaker and also the very similar W3 "in wall speaker " . Wereas the Axiom Audio M3 is a conventional BS, the W3 gets recessed into the wall.
Will this make any difference in the SQ especially as the W3 appears to be better for placement with flat panel TV's ?
Also.. since the M3 is a conventional speaker with BS cabinet while the W3 does not have a traditional cabinet to speak of.
Please comment. Could not find a thread on this.

You have answered your own questions - inwall vs. standmount bookshelves.
Performance wise they are very very similar though you might want to note that inwall placement is constrained by whats behind the wall vs. bookshelves. If you notice all the waves that emanate into the walls do not make it back into the listening area.
