I meant the head board wall.Yes , that is where I proposed the pyramid cone too . At the back side of the sub . It will definitely help.

Nah, won't help there. Boominess is due to that cave where you have kept the sub. That place needs acoustic treatmentI meant the head board wall.
Oh.. Okay.. Shall I try placing the sub out of the wooden enclosure?
Hahaha.. yes we all do that .I drag my subwoofer 2 feet away from the wall where it usually sits whenever I watch movies... Things we do to get the best out of our systems.
I use ISO acoustics for my book shelves and they make a day/ night difference. Will subwoofer isolation help ?
I also do that as it gives tighter bassI drag my subwoofer 2 feet away from the wall where it usually sits whenever I watch movies... Things we do to get the best out of our systems.
Hi @prateekatasniya, I know this is an old thread, but curious to know how you resolved the issue.I have setup my home theater in my bedroom. Using genelec 2.1
Genelec 8040b speakers with genelec 7060b subwoofer. With Cambridge audio CXN and pioneer bdp 180.
The bass is loud enough but is boomy.
What can I do ?
