I have been checking on this LG LX9500 since the past 2 months. Found the spce to be far above all its rivels. But how does it compare with the markert king the panasonice VT25 ?

@ Prankey - Forget about the 3D. Which one has the better picture clarity and TV viewing experience for 2d?

My question was regarding U.S. or indian markets, I have not seen any VT25 in indian stores .
Btw if you guys looked at todays deccan herald newspaper.It said lg has launched the new 2011 range of smart tvs.
The flagship range has nano LED,so possibly more dimming zones and they definitely have more features this year.

LG Electronics today announced the Korean release of its new CINEMA 3D TV, which boasts the first third-party endorsed "flicker free" 3D images, along with more comfortable glasses, a brighter picture and a wider viewing angle.
"Having used our expertise in 3D to address consumer concerns about 3D, such as the sometime flickery picture and unwieldy glasses, today we're ready to unveil a real breakthrough in 3D with LG CINEMA 3D TV," said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company. "LG CINEMA 3D TV will be a real game changer in 3D TV, pushing 3D viewing to new heights of excitement and taking 3D technology firmly into the mainstream of home entertainment worldwide."
CINEMA 3D TV's feature the Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology, which is said to optimize the separation of images for the left and right eye. Those images are then matched up with CINEMA 3D glasses specially designed to receive each image, creating a smooth 3D picture.
The resulting picture has earned CINEMA 3D TV "flicker free" certification from Intertek and TUV, two certification agencies based in Europe.
LG is promoting light, inexpensive 3D spectacles, without batteries, which are required by Samsung's. The Cinema 3D TVcomes with lightweight 3D glasses. Tipping the scales at just 16 grams, the glasses have no electrical parts, so they are free of electromagnetic waves and never need to be recharged. And because the CINEMA 3D TV's glasses don't need to be synced or shuttered, they ensure CINEMA 3D stays free of onscreen flicker.
Further ramping up the picture quality is LG's 3D Light Boost, a thin film covering the CINEMA 3D TV's screen that ensures 3D images are shown at full brightness. By counteracting any dimness that can sometimes occur with 3D content, 3D Light Boost creates brighter images.
Thanks to its wider viewing angle and flexible viewing positions, CINEMA 3D TV is ideal for watching 3D with big groups of friends or family, while sitting or lying down in practically any spot in front of the TV.
CINEMA 3D TV also boasts all the advantages of LG?s Smart TV technology. I went to LG showroom today and inquired about the same LG 3D LED TV. And i said my friend got a very good deal. The salesman said whatever deal he got, I will give you better deal for 100%. He he he. Here I screwed his happiness. LoL LoL!
Thanks first of all for starting this thread. I opened the thread in my phone and showed him Rs.99000 for the TV. For sometime he didnt say anything which I expected already. I told him to give me a best deal now. He said give me sometime Sir. I will give u better deal than this. I got a bigger smile on my face.
After sometime, few phone calls here and there, he came to me and said, Rs 99,000/- for the TV + TATASKY HD + 50 DVD titles + Adidas Tshirt + HDMI Cable + a pair of 3D glasses which I told him is free anyway.
I told him, I dont need 50 DVD titles and the Adidas tshirt and I need better deal in terms of price. He said, you can pay 49,000 and the rest 50,000 you can do EMI of 0% interest.
I again said its not the best deal. He told me to come tomorrow and I will give you better deal for 100%. This is actually a new showroom of LG and I think the person is dying to make a deal.
Let me know guys if the deal is good and the TV is worth buying. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.3D experience: as I do not have any 3d blue ray player I have downloaded alice in wonderland clip (side by side one) from internet. My HD player is able to play this clip, from TV menu I selected 3D mode as side by side and voila it was working. Overall I find it very good even better then the demo I have seen in Sony center from their 3D blue ray player!!!! :clapping:. I have downloaded a 720 P quality movie Shrek. Now I am using this movie to show 3D capability to my relatives/friends and they really blown away with the 3D experience of this TV. I will try full HD 3D movie and share the experience her later.

The movie was not in true 3D Blue ray format. The movie was ripped and converted to side-by-side 3d format which is supported bu this TV. Xtreamer would play this format as any normal movie and TV will make this to 3D when selected as 3d side-by-side.
The deal you are getting is awsome. you can negotiate further to get more discount/goodies.
Please share the dealers detail with us interested fellow members. one of my friend is interested in this TV and the croma people says its not in stock presently.

Yes the deal is good but I am waiting for 50PZ550 TV. It should be available in LG showrooms soon. Its a 50" 3D Plasma TV. The dealer is a local dealer here in Indirapuram. But i got a better deal in "The Great India Place" Mall in Noida at Jumbo electronics. Deal was 96k + Tatasky HD. You can tell you friends to opt the deal asap.
