BOZ preamp

Good, where did you get jfets locally?

I have used IRF610 MOSFET which is recommended in article.

PCB was self designed and got it manufactured from a PCB factory.

The only part which is difficult to get is good dual pot.

thanks

Sparkling clarity. This preamp can add tube like sound to Solid State amps and make them more lively.
This can also be used with Tube amps which I am doing.

Here is picture of another one made by a friend.
I have a few spare PCB and some parts if anybody wants to make one.

From where did you and your friend source the enclosure. I was looking for a enclosure for my DCB1 build.

I got it made in a friends factory who do sheet metal work but not for these kind of chassis. But they don't make and sell these types of chassis. I purchased a small sheet of aluminium and got it fabricated there and then got it powder coated.
You have to find some Sheet metal workshop to get a chassis made.
Aluminum in 2mm thickness is good for this job.

Can you please share the dimensions of the cabinet?

A cabinet of size 11" (front width) X 8"( depth) X 3"( height) is good enough.
Here is a picture which I have taken from net to show the dimensions. My chassis is of similar size. Height of mine is 2.5" but 3" will be better.
regards
