Budget Receiver/Amp?

Hi All,

I am completely new to this forum and would really appreciate some help!..
I recently bought the Bose Acoustimass 3 Series IV speakers with the intention of using them with my laptop....I am looking for an affordable (<20K) receiver or an amplifier that I can possible use with these speakers....if anyone knows any dealers/shops in Gurgaon/Mumbai please do share! thanks in advance!!!

These speakers are not demanding. Any amplifier will have enough juice to drive them. Besides they are not revealing speakers. So again you can amp them with pretty much anything. I'd suggest go for a Norge amplifier, it will get the job done nicely and save you some money as well.

If you want an international brand, look at Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha. They all have amplifiers at round about that price. Or look at the pre-owned gear section, if you can come out with something. That way you will be safe when you decide to upgrade your speakers.

@Flash - unfortunately im not in Mumbai before 29th!! So wont be able to get that discount!...

@ranjeetrain - I looked for Norge and found some really cheap stereo amplifier options....Norge 1515, Norge 2030, Norge 4242, Norge 2060....all under 10K....not sure which one is compatible...!! help plz!!

Also, I will be using this system only at my rented place....so looking for the cheaper options....have a Yamaha system at home...so no intentions to use this system for later upgrades!!!....

one last thing....this forum is super helpful!!!

2060 will be fine. They are really value for money amps.
