If you have the budget, then you can consider audiolab 6000N. It has a good dac too, but i guess you already have a good dac with you, sine you are looking for optical out.

I did test spotify on Xbox and it works fine. Its better than the inbuilt spotify on AVR ( it is supposed to be with external DAC ).
