c13 vs c15

I was planning to get the shunyata venom hc for my naim nait 5i.

the venom has the iec c15 plug towards the amp end.

I wrote to naim to check if it was compatible with the nait and they wrote back :

"We use IEC C13, not sure if the C15 fits the C14 socket"


so any idea if the c15 is compatible with the c13?

appreciate the insights.

C15 has a small slot on one side but fits in comfortably into a socket meant for C13 (C14).
