what banana plug are those ?

most of the branded ones.. infact local ones also will have a screw inside to tighten the wire. once you remove the plastic cover else it will have a hole where you can guide the fire and make a loop and secure it.

last resort yes solder it but make sure the wire get good contact with the pin.

Its not a branded one
Took it from an electronic cable shop in town
no screws in it, a flat surface with a small hole in it

soldering is recomended in the speaker cable to banana pin connection

yup recommended i agree but eventually if these are for temporary purpose you will end up cutting wire again. also those will be nickel plated ones which are not good quality.

try getting MX ones for 50-60 bucks for a pair else if budget permits get nakamichi.. mean while a tight loop through the hole will do..

yes its for a temporary setup
I have few amps, speakers, tuner, avr, equalizers etc.
planning to make a 9 slot av rack and a speaker stand to arrange those
connection has to made by ready available cables and moderate quality ones

the one i bought is nickel plated 20 rupess per pair

Nakamichi plugs made of IRON
I discovered that Nakamichi banana plugs and spade terminals are gold plated iron, NOT "pure copper" as advertised. Note that it appears that Nakamichiplug.com is NOT associated Nakamichi.com; I have no issues with Nakamichi (the real one) gear. I have seen several postings on this forum and others about using Nakamichi banana plugs and other connectors, and wanted to let folks know that they are an overpriced piece of gold plated iron. Hey, they look nice, and the moderate price would make one think that they're getting a good deal. Nope.

Discovered by breaking a tip on a spade plug trying to get it to fit an 8mm post; copper doesn't snap like that and upon magnification is definitely not copper by looks. Filed down that piece, and sample filings on other pieces and also some banana plugs, discovered all were a gold plating on copper plating on soft iron. Finally verified it by dropping it in some hydrochloric acid, and as expected the iron reacted (slowly). (Don't have any nitric acid to test with which is very reactive with copper but not as much with iron.)
