was wondering if the amp would be able to drive a floor stander

if it will, will try to audition FS - wharfdale, QAcoustics, Elac and any other reco..

music 70%, movie 30%.

Thanks.

Yes it should be... But define ur purpose and room size will give clarity for FM members to suggest exactly

Should drive most depending on the sensitivity and as long as they are 6 or 8 ohms. But you have to be specific which floor standers to really be sure.

thanks - Here are other details :

Room size 10 x 15
FS that I will audition : Elac, Wharfdale, Jamo, Paradigm, QAcoustics..

Upgrading from Bookshelf to FS - I am aware that BS shoudl be ok but still want to go for a FS

No dedicated sub, hence the bass should be good enough from the FS, vocals should be clear in music.

Heard Elac at my colleague's place - Very good detailing, bass was superb, vocals were very clear. sound was engulfing.

Any other speak recommendation is also welcome.
