Just an update on my center channel speaker upgrade, moving from a Vandersteen VCC-1 to VCC-5, expected to reach my home by first week of April 2012 when I will be "here" for a couple of weeks. I have been contemplating this ever since I upgraded from the 2Ce Signature to Quatro wood.
Previously I did not bother too much with center channel speaker as the VCC-1 is really good with its coaxial drivers. Now that I have moved to Blu-Ray, and had a chance to listen to the VCC-5, I find a tremendous step-up there with the big woofers added in that with that deep bass enhancing the dialogues when played in uncompressed Dolby and DTS formats.
