True, though easy fixing. no need to desolder or anything. untwist the cables and turn any one cable 180 degrees . hogaya red-black rca cable.

No Actually that was my idea from the start, ie, the red parts go to the amp and the black side go to source, I actually followed the rule of connecting outer shield to ground and cutting it from amp end.

I have many color of shrink tube.
