I m looking for a cheap Bluetooth speaker which I would be using for my iPod nano 7th gen, iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro, .. Since m looking for a cheap yet decent sounding 'ultraportable' solution (so that it would fit in my laptop bag or even in my jeans pocket!) I came to a single option I could find- portronics Pure sound BT, at 2k from eBay . I m not expecting wonders out of this small speaker, but anyone had any good experiences with this before? I have listened to JBL flip, felt it okay for the price.. But I don't feel like its a throwaway money deal! Other than cheap Chinese options have anyone come across similar products?

I would try to keep myself away from Chinese stuff, as they may not have good battery life..

An update, may be useful for someone looking for the same, I got a demo if this product from a portronics outlet, they sounded good to my ears considering the price.. The black coloured one, looks good too. Infact it's a good speakerphone too.. Have planned to get this soon:) this is not an audiophile gear, but I feel it's doing a justice to the money we spend on it..

Try the JBL flip, seems decent enough sound as can be expected from a bluetooth portable. But it costs much more.
I have listened to flip already, it's good but sounds tinny to my ears.. And it costs more than double the price of the one I m looking for..as I have mentioned it earlier, I listened to
Portronics and it sounded okay for the price.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
