checking cost of Fostex speakers in India

I am getting following Fostex speakers in Borada for the prices given by their side. Do you think they are reasonable?

FE 103EN - 3900 PER PIECE
FE 126EN - 5700 PER PIECE
FE 166EN - 6900 PER PIECE

The prices seem reasonable. This seems to be imported prices. If you go to Madisound site and choose the shipping option you can check it for yourself.

I had imported drivers from Madisound and the landed price markup was similar.

If someone is getting it for you at this price in baroda it is better as you do not have the anxiety of damages in courier, which is always a possibility,

I have imported Fostex Drivers from Madisound recently. The local prices you have seem reasonable and will save you the trouble of importing.

Not sure how we define "reasonable"
I had my 126en shipped to US address, and all I had to part was Rs.5500/- for the Pair - this was in April.

And friends, thanks for your replies.

Well, actually, I thought of going in Jaudere's path for an OB design. But the house that we have rented has small rooms. OBs Ithink needs more back spaces. So, a try for BLH design will be taking less footprint.
Only problem seeps getting a good carpenter.
Although the supplier, RJM says they know good carpenters to do it.
Let's see.
SBG, how did you got your 126EN? If it is a professional service and I an availa that, please be requested to provide that to me.

My elder and younger siblings are based in US, so usually I try to hoard the items I need, so when ever they come to India , they get it based on their available luggage space.

and coming back to the prices if "reasonable" - anything from US for these kind of items - 35 to 50% of the item cost should be reasonable. If heavier items then you can expect shipping cost which can go.

Another option using Fostex drivers is transmission line speakers, do a search for Bob Brines-he offers enclosure designs for sale at $20 or so for Fostex drivers, and having ddome one of them they are good. I got my drivers 167E through someone in checked in baggage from the US.
