Chennai Music Festival 2012

The music festival in Chennai has begun. Links to what concerts will happen when, are provided on the net. Here is one such link
For people outside Chennai like us, would like some info on when some of these concerts will appear on TV, radio or internet-streaming. FMs in Chennai and elsewhere, do post whatever info available , well in advance, to enable us to enjoy the music.
For eg. Jaya TV is telecasting music concerts daily in the evening, with repeats at 7.30am in the morning.

Probably the best online concert listing: kutcheries.com. They have even produced an Android App (maybe iphone too)

Thanks Nick for that link. What I am actually looking for is any news/ info on when such concerts will appear on TV or radio, so that folks like us outside Chennai can enjoy the music.
For the present, I find that Jaya TV will be telecasting " Margazhi Maha Utsavam" in the 5.30-6.30pm slot daily. Got to listen to the Malladi Brothers on this channel.

Oh dear, both Srinisundar and I anglicised the plural: it's kutcheris.com, no "ies." (My link is correct, though). Sorry about that.

Sorry also, that I have no idea about TV schedules --- but I've noticed that Kutcheris.com does sometimes mark concerts that they have been informed will be webcast, which might help you.

Some of the concerts have, I notice, AIR mics on stage, so I guess they are destined for the radio. The big TV-station event (so far as I'm aware) is the Jaya TV one as mentioned by canchi.

I know one of the guys working in Kutcheris.com. They are putting personal finance into getting developers to work on the site and the app, but they are dependent on the schedules that they get from sabhas and artists, and they do a lot of typing themselves. For most of the concerts it is possible to search by accompanists as well as main artists, so you can follow your favourite violinist as well as your favourite singer.

It's been around a couple of years, but I think they have achieved a lot this year, with more improvements to come in future . And it is not their full-time job --- which makes it all the more remarkable.
