Classified seller rating system

I was attempting to purchase the following

I spoke with seller once many weeks ago and we both mutually agreed to move forward with the transaction for which I arranged the funds and other requirements then seller backed out by withdrawing. I said ok.

Seller posts the tv again after 2 weeks, I reached out to him again for purchase. Gave advance to block it. He marked the tv as sold on forum. I made arrangements for funds, pickup and labour after spending a lot of time and effort. Now seller has returned the advance and backed out again possibly selling to higher bidder.

Such individuals are time wasters and bad for the community. I want to be able to leave a permanent review or rating against them so others are aware and do not waste their time. This can be achieved by putting an input field and verification process who was it sold to and who purchased what with financial evidence. We are in 2025, as community members we should be able to help prevent others from falling into such traps by holding each other accountable.

He's done this before as well.

The point is you cannot make deal accept escrow and after arrangements are done back out like that. He cited "Warranty claim" related moral responsibility or something. I told him he does not have to worry if anything goes bad I'll pay for it. Even after that he backed out. Highly suspicious and makes one question validity of all his items.

But unless the rules prohibit withdrawal of items posted for sale…
Making such a rule because one person has done it may not be a good move.

if something is marked as sold, a buyer should have the ability to leave a review similar to ebay. In ebay if seller does this sort of behavior they carry the bad rating.

Have taken this up with the seller. Please allow us some time to get more information.
