Cmoy portable headphone amplifier (need kit for DIY)

Hello friends,
I am new to the DIY scene, As for now I have electric avenues PA2V2 portable amplifier. I really like the handmade DIY stuff hence i bought pa2v2 rather than same priced fiio e11.
Now i woukd like to build my own cmoy type portable amplifier. However for start I would like to go for full Kit with all the essential parts.

Is anyone in india selling full kit of cmoy amps?

I recently bought it and it comes with OPA2134. I tried it with LM4562 as well and it sounds good and certainly a value buy..uploaded a review as well on that site..

Yes I read your review.. From where you get LM4562?

I bought SSP from Sachin and it came with that and later i upgraded it to LM49990.

Got it.. Just as I was ordering I checked and seems this kit takes 2 9v batteries. Is there any kit which takes 1 battery? Or this AMP can work with single 9v battery.

I dont think this can work with single 9V as two 9V batteries create a virtual ground and +9v, -9v rails which this amp requires...

You can also make one regulated +/-18v adapter or power source then you wont need batteries.

Please tell me the difference between a ready made fiio e11 and buying a kit cmoy.There is nothing hand-made-diy in a kit.

You buy a kit,only if it is very difficult to get the parts or you want to order en masse to save on costs or you are too lazy.

A cmoy is meant to be a introductory course to diy audio.You have to learn from making it.

If you buy a kit,there is nothing to do at all.Just slap the parts together with some lead and call it custom made.

If you are anxious about how you are going to go about buying parts or if there is an outlet selling these things in your town,there is absolutely no difficulty in finding the parts for a cmoy in your town/city.
You can do with lower quality parts,and then go up to premium parts.

If you really want a start,learn the very basics and get the parts yourself.Build it by your own hand,make mistakes,innovate and get it to work after maybe having one or a few eureka moments.That is joy.

Difference is the simplicity. You can not change a single part on fiio e11 due to very small components on pcb.
With cmoy you can change pratically anything.
Fiio will cost you more if it goes bad, cmoy will practically cost you nothing.
