Dear all,

After going thru all the Facts / Myths regarding the interconnects / Digital cable, I thought of taking a bait of upgrading the cables. My present setup for Music is transport from Pioneer BDP450 coaxial to Arcam Rlink to Yamaha AS500, bi-amped to TSi 400 (Monoprice 16 AWG) . The present coxial and interconnects are some local brand which were brought long back and used for my Mobile phones. hence this thought of upgradation.

After so many browsing hours, I narrowed ( with more confusion) to the following options which are within my budgetmore. I request our esteemed FMs to advise me on the following options;

1. Profigold PROA4801 Coaxial & Profigold PROA4202 IC priced at 1200-1M &
1800 - 2M respectively
2. Profigold PROA4801 Coaxial & QED Profile IC ( Rs.2950- 1M)
3. Profigold PROA4801 Coaxial & Crimson plus IC ( Rs.3350-1M from profx-
chennai)

4. any other option from fellow FMs

Do I get any difference in replacing by old (thin) coaxial. Even advise for non upgradation for my setup is also most welcome.

If I could get used cables from anyother suitabe brand within my budget will be a bonus.

Thanks & Regards

Thanks Robert. And I also keep DAC as one option. Did you get the DAC as an upgrade?

I got a used one ( posted in the sale section ) Canera cable from fellow HFV member - Nice one - just in case if you don't mind buying a used one.

I support Robert Bose, I have also used DAC cables. Get both DAC IC and COAX, they are really good vfm item and performance wise they can compete with other brand up to Rs.5000.

However, DAC speaker cable was not that good with my system at least to my ear.

hi, did you replace your any existing cable with this Canera and if so, find any difference in the sound quality over your earlier one. Rgds
