From what I understand, bi-amping is the use of 2 separate amps for 1 pair of speakers and bi wiring is using 2 pairs of wires from one channel for one speaker for the low and high.
My Polk RTi A7 has dual binding posts.....good. So as per Polk manual, we have to remove the jumper plate, connect 2 pairs of wires from the amp to the upper and lower binding posts per channel. It does not matter which is up or down as they merge at the amp's binding post (Branch out from the amp).
Now reading Marantz technical literature, quote " Marantz has 2 sets of speaker outputs which can be used for bi-wiring or bi-amping a pair of speakers"......hmm so now what should infer from this ???
So does it mean
1. Speaker A Left going to left speaker bottom post / Speaker A right going to left speaker upper post and similarly speaker B outputs for the right speaker
OR
is there any other way to utilize both speaker A and B outs for 1 pair of 3 way speakers (like the Polk RTi A7).
I have a NAD 356 with DAC and it has 2 sets of speaker outs.
Off the topic a bit, how can I playback my Flac files from the laptop to the amp wireless?
Eagerly hoping for FM's suggestions. Many Thanks in advance.
